In 2023, Guangzhou SCA School launched its domestic high school pathway.
The 1+1+N Teaching Model
The first "1": Special-grade and senior teachers at the helm. Special-grade and senior teachers form an Academic Committee that studies the direction of gaokao question-setting, plans the overall gaokao teaching strategy, and personally teaches in classrooms as part of the closed teaching loop. This team of graduates from top universities such as Tsinghua, Peking, and USTC has cultivated students admitted to leading institutions including Peking University, the University of Hong Kong, and Zhejiang University.
The second "1": Core teachers tracking every student.
The Academic Committee sets the direction; core teachers deliver on the ground — tracking every student throughout, from learning progress to mental well-being.
The "N": Tutoring teachers, 14:00–23:00.
Dedicated tutoring teachers work from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm, responsible for after-class tutoring, small-group Q&A, and one-on-one targeted improvement. When students hit a problem during evening self-study, it is solved on the spot — truly "resolving the day's difficulties the same day."
Small classes, personalised learning
With no more than 30 students per class and fully customised instruction from curriculum to tutoring, we achieve a high teacher–student ratio and small-class management. Students enjoy abundant resources, while teachers give comprehensive attention to each student's life, studies, and mental health, closely following their learning status and progress — so every student receives a higher level of individual attention.
We believe in teaching tailored to each student through tiered instruction, using a "one student, one plan" approach to score improvement. Based on each student's learning foundation, we design personalised teaching plans and adjust them continuously according to performance at every stage — delivering long-term tracking, timely adjustment, scientific instruction, and precise teaching, with attention to each child's growth across multiple dimensions.
Freedom of subject choice under the new gaokao
With a high teacher–student ratio, we can offer all 12 combinations of the new gaokao elective subjects — even a combination chosen by just one student will be offered. Whatever subjects students need, SCA Domestic High School will run them, so students can fully capitalise on their strongest subjects.
Non-English foreign language courses for the gaokao
For students whose English performance is less strong, we offer courses in other foreign languages, providing diverse routes to maximise their gaokao results.
