On March 21, 2025, Guangzhou SCA School celebrated the Hwa Chong Family of Schools Founders' Day and its own 4th anniversary at the school gymnasium. Around 1,500 people, including teachers, students, guests, and Parent Committee representatives, joined in the celebration.
The theme of the celebration was "Integrity and Humility," one of the school's core values.
At 9 a.m., the event kicked off. Hwa Chong alumnus and Singapore's Consul-General in Guangzhou, Ms. Cindy Wee, delivered a speech as a special guest. This was her second visit to the school. She praised the school's achievements as a model of China-Singapore educational cooperation and its role in promoting educational exchanges. Facing the wave of AI reshaping society, she emphasized that while technology can disrupt industries and reshape economic landscapes, it cannot replicate invaluable qualities like "Integrity and Humility." She encouraged students to pursue these qualities, saying, "These values make us truly human and will make you future leaders."

SCA Education Superintendent Dr Hon Chiew Weng presents a student artwork, "Spring Harmony and Bright Scenery" created by Grade 6 student Chen Zhitong, to Ms Cindy Wee as a souvenir.
During the celebration, several award ceremonies were held: certificates of collection for the Tan Kah Kee 150th Anniversary Art Competition were awarded to teachers and students; the Friend of SCA Award was given to parents and social figures who have contributed significantly to the school's development; and the SCA Values Champion Award was announced to recognize outstanding faculty members who embody the school's motto and core values in their teaching. These three awards highlight the school's cultural depth and development vitality.

Students from different departments gave wonderful performances to interpret the theme of "Integrity and Humility": the primary school choir's clear and warm voices, the regular high school band's youthful memories, and the international high school band's energetic performance with Chinese and Western percussion instruments.
At the end of the celebration, led by student leaders, all teachers and students recited the SCA Pledge, their voices echoing throughout the gymnasium.
