On March 31, 2025, the Third Guangdong-Singapore Primary and Secondary School Principals Exchange Activity, themed “Innovative Education and Transformation of Talent Development Models,” was officially launched in Guangzhou. In the morning, a delegation of principals from Singapore’s Ministry of Education visited Guangzhou SCA School as their first stop.
Guangzhou SCA School showcased its achievements in the integrated development of Guangdong-Singapore basic education through campus tours, cultural performances, and sharing sessions. The SCA Dance Team and Lion Dance Team delivered opening performances titled “Drum Music Chapter” and “Awakening Lion,” highlighting students’ profound artistic literacy and the school’s innovative inheritance of traditional culture through rhythmic drumming and lively lion dancing. A founding member of the school recounted the journey from its inception to establishment, emphasizing its roots in the century-long educational heritage of the Hwa Chong Family and its commitment to the school motto of “Constant Self-renewal with Tenacity, Innovation and Passion.” Additionally, school leaders introduced the latest implementation of the school’s curriculum and talent development system.
This visit marked the beginning of the three-day itinerary for the Third Guangdong-Singapore Primary and Secondary School Principals Exchange Activity, during which the delegation will visit and exchange with several primary and secondary schools in Guangdong.
